Week 2 was just as exciting as Week 1 was. We were at a number of games across the state from East Texas (Sherman vs Mt. Pleasant) to DFW (Richardson vs Garland), and West Texas (El Paso Andress vs El Paso Parkland). There were a lot of great performances Week 1, but three players stood out as our Top Performers.

Offensive Game Changer

Garland (TX) senior quarterback Cergio Perez was selected as the Offensive Game Changer Of The Week with a 6 touchdown performance in a 55-3 victory over Richardson (TX).

Defensive Big Stepper

Clarksville (TX) ATH Amarion Black was selected as our Defensive Big Stepper Of The Week, but he could have been our Top Offensive Player or Sleeper Of The Week. Black, literally willed his team to victory with 13 tackles, interception, forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, all while scoring three touchdowns (Passing, Rushing, and Receiving). Heled the Tigers beat rival Linden-Kildare (TX) 26-20.
